WOW Kotex Party!

by - September 30, 2010

Got invited to my second blogger event last tuesday, many thanks to Pax, for the launch of Kimberly Clark's Kotex Luxe Designs and it was held at Bizu Patiserrie and Bistro. The event was said to start at 7PM, but I still had to look for parking so I was a bit late. Luckily, Ana (My forever event buddy!)was also still on her way and we decided to just wait for each other and go at the venue together. :)

The event started out with a buffet dinner; roast beef, rice, steamed fish, pasta, and salad. Oh so Nom nom nom! But my eyes were secretly on the macaroons. They look cute!!

Drooooool... Got Gersh four pieces for being such a patient boyfriend!

But because of all the picture taking going on, talking to old blogger friends and meeting new ones, it took us quite some time before lining up and eating. I guess bloggers don't only over share on the net, but in person as well!:)

And another one!

After dinner we were asked by the host to introduce ourselves one by one, mention our blog URL, and to answer the question; If you were a fashion brand, what would you be and why. I simply said that I wanted to be RAMP because they offered different kinds of clothes, they patronize local designers, and with that I believe we should love our own product. :) Our table was actually nervous to answer. Even tried avoiding it by transferring seats!=p but still, we managed to make a smooth delivery. ;) Also, we were given the task to design our own pad. We pretty much enjoyed this activity. It certainly brought out the inner child in us! Ana went hippie on hers, Pax had cute lips design, Bestie had ants (cute!), Melai had independence written on hers and Lloyda had fun swirls. :)

My masterpiece!Chos!

Now about Kotex Luxe Designs. As modern young women we have adapted to many things, including fashion and being independent, so together with these changes, Kotex came up with the brilliant idea of making the world's first ever pad that not only protects you, but has a new stunning design that will reflect our personal sense and style! Why settle for only white when you can have this...

At the close end of the event, we were each handed a bag full of Kimberly Clark goodies to take home. We didn't exactly immediately go home after the event...We just had to stay a bit for more pictorials!:)

I'm very thankful I was given the chance to attend this event. I really had so much fun meeting all the lovely ladies that I usually just interact with through blogger, like Lloyda, Bestie, Denise, (All SO gorgeous and fasyooon!) and to bond with blog friends I already met in the past. (chatter box galore!) I feel blessed!:) Thank you again, Pax and Mich for some of the photos and for this wonderful opportunity. It was the perfect all-girls night out! Can't wait to get together with you and the girls again. Till our next blogger event!
